The Luminous team wrapped up another successful General Assembly meeting, held from 3–4 April 2024 at University College Dublin. This gathering brought together partners from across the Luminous project to engage in dynamic discussions, share progress, and strengthen collaborations. A highlight of the meeting was the showcase of early prototypes of our Language-Augmented XR (Extended Reality) systems. These cutting-edge solutions are being developed to transform practices in different domains like Safety Training, Neurorehabilitation, Architectural Design etc.

By combining the power of language technologies with immersive XR environments, Luminous is pioneering innovative approaches to learning, recovery, and design. The meeting provided a valuable platform for exchanging feedback, refining ideas, and aligning on the project’s next milestones.

We’re excited about the path ahead and remain committed to driving impactful research and development at the intersection of XR and language technologies.
