Web3D 2024 was held from September 25–27 at the CCG/ZGDV Institute, Azurém Campus, Guimarães, Portugal. This prestigious event brought together experts, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the latest advancements in 3D web technologies, immersive environments, and extended reality (XR). Team Luminous did Workshop 3: Towards Next Generation Extended Reality – Data Compilation and Evaluation Strategies. This workshop addressed critical challenges and innovative solutions in XR, focusing on improving data collection, standardization, and evaluation methods to enhance user experiences and system performance.
